The NSW Corporate
Games are on again this weekend, and the factory workers have
put together 4 teams for this year’s event.
This time I’ve got a boat to steer, so the pressure is on to do
well. We’ve already got a full set of excuses ready to run if we
get knocked out in the heats.
It’s always interesting sailing the boat with 2 experienced guys
and 7 never-sailed newbies… After 5 afternoon practice
sessions… we’ve still got 7 newbies… Unfortunately we didn’t
get organised enough to stack the boat with talent, but we can
always try for next year.
And then again if we do get knocked out in the morning, I could
always run over the hill to the 18 footers… or go across the
harbour and get the Moth on the water for the first time in a
while.
Lucky there is no Winning Appliances or Steve Jarvin Motors
team…
