Exodus
There seems to be plenty of movement in the Australian Moth fleet. I’m hoping it’s for the better.
Grant is selling his MKII Tiger (my previous-now-pimped boat), Donosan is selling his HT/Fastacraft conversion, Ben is selling his HT/Thorpe conversion… and even Les has mentioned it.
And I’ve already sold my Bladerider.
That’s an awful lot of new foilers on the scene if they all choose to upgrade. Luka said there were 7 new foilers being built for next season at St George - and I don’t think it includes any of the above.
Edit: Chris has also listed his 2000 World Championship winning boat…

Guess that’s one way of saying “It’s caused my life to be living hell over the last few months and I’m sick of it”.
Who’s the lucky buyer? Are you getting another moth to replace it?
donosan and grant have ordered new prowlers as has a 3rd st georger. Add to that 4 Gilmour hulls (and a 5th one heading to tasmania) on fastacraft or thorpe/stevo foils, +/- donosan’s, bens + your old boat to new owners, +/- all the other aus bladerider orders +/- any stevenson input (the rumor mill has it that a new, super-lightweight chainsaw redux might be launched next season and andrew is considering putting another moth together in his spare time when not 12ing) + Marty’s new boat +/- whoever gets full frontal + any new boats in WA, vic or sa (my guess is amac will get a new BR and rohan will sell his after worlds and get yet another, john illet’s been seen on the swan playing with historic 18s in his new prowler which will inevitably wind up overseas after worlds)… I’d say mothing is looking pretty healthy in aus at least for the time being given that it looks like anywhere between 10-25 new boats could be on the water for next season and 3 or 4 new/upgrading mothists in good 2nd hand foilers.

Ahhh no. It was sold before I paid for it, and long before it was delivered.
The next one is on order for delivery about August/September.

The production of the exciting, incredibly light and blisteringly fast, abreviated version of Chainsaw depends on someone purchasing either or both of present Chainsaw and Tiger on a Chain.
Andrew sailed Chainsaw last Saturday and showed speed well in excess of the asking price.
A new Chain (saw might be abbreviated off) would make 8 new boats for Aust No 1 Moth fleet at St George. WE just have to get the RO to appreciate us.
