Time is rapidly running out for pre-Worlds preparation.

I had yet another great weekend of sailing. Hitting the water just as the sun came up… when everyone else was tucked in their warm winter beds.

And it was so worth it. It never ceases to amaze me how awesome these flying boats are.

Both days saw pretty consistent westerly breezes, with up to 15 knots today. Perfect mid-range-Ora Garda breeze.

By the time the 29er squad (and the rest of the sailing population) was rigged and ready to go at 11am, the breeze was shutting down – and the rest of the day was a parking lot – on both days.

Added to all that is that I think my latest tuning adjustments have given me a lazy 11% performance improvement.

Niiiice.
