Trainspotter's report:

MSL 9 is much straighter down the leach and less constrained in the roach and might be a gnat's longer on the foot than the others.

MSL12 has a much smaller roach and reduced leach hollow compared to the 10mod and the 9 and is a smidge shorter on the foot (possibly from moving the small amount of area on the foot to fill in the leach hollow a bit).

MSL10mod has a lot more hollow in the leach and slightly more area in the upper regions of the sail compared to the 12, but is also smaller than the 9 due to the hollow leach... longer on the foot than the 12, guessing it's the same foot length as the 9.

(well you did ask if anyone could spot the difference!!)

That Truflow though... it looks dead sexy. Does it have a bit less luff curve than the KAs, or have you just got a bit less vang and cunno on than Si in the shot where Si's got his 9 on? It looks nice and flat and yet very powerful - I'm guessing that it's a lot more controllable in conditions over 15 knots than the MSL 9 or 10... what did you think of it Scott compared to the other sails you have used? I'm looking at options for a new race main to replace my late-in-life Ben Kelly Kevlar MSL9-alike for nationals and that looks like an absolute winner. Any idea as to what the blue scrim in the material is? Just another sort of UV coated carbon strand or something different altogether?
