A sign of things to come?

Ouch.
It looks like coming a clear 2nd in the Moth Worlds doesn’t get me a spot in the 2008 Bladerider X-Team. Not to mention not being told about it directly.
I guess I haven’t been the most compliant propagandist in the whole operation, but WTF?

If you can let your designer go there is no reason why a few sailors would not be expendable! Are financial realities starting to bite???

But apart from an unlimited supply of spare parts and a red hat, what does being a team member get you?

Is this the start of the end?

You get a thumbnail photo of yourself and a profile on the BR website of course! Now you’ll just have to adjust your expectations, tone down the rock star lifestyle and settle for a profile on the Aussie website with all the other Mothies.
As for me, I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member. (Groucho Marx)

can’t be in the team without a boat (i should probably not be in there either in that case).
applications are now open to anyone interested. all we need is a 15% deposit for a discounted boat and a goal to finish in the top ten at the next worlds.
email me if interested (no tyre kickers).

Good point Rohan… I don’t have a boat. The weekend is quiet without one.

“can’t be in the team without a boat (i should probably not be in there either in that case).”
Being worl no’1 and an employee gives you exemptions.
But to enter some bodies blog and advertise the position and not even have the courtisy to ring in regards to it in the first place is a little unprofessional.
Maybe all the sugar coating on customer and team service is starting to wash off leaving a stail taste.

Please don’t order a boat for a few weeks otherwise I am sure the boat that is about to be sent to me (finally) might get reallocated (again!!!!)

The more boats they divert Simon the more issues they will have worked through.
You paid a hell of alot of money for this boat, I’d be pissed that they are giving you the run around with it.

Enough of the negativity people! If you’ve got something worthwhile to say, put your name behind it.
