"If in doubt ask your 18 mates, the older ones who would know these things, not the young showponies"

So which is Scott? He's been around a while now but can he really be called an "older one? Otherwise, I think you are saying he is a young showpony! I hope you're not trying to groom him.

I think the centreboard case will need a bit of love after copping it from 2 broken boards. The webbing is definitely being replaced now that you've brought it up.

I agree with Si, it must be how your loading the boat/board - go through what you have changed and just check if any of these are loading the board wrongly

Good luck with it all!BTW the 18 looks nice!
I am racing against the kiwi 18's this weekend at a local regatta here in Auckland will keep you posted how I go!

Scott
I suspect the issue may not be with the boards but with your hull. Has the padding moved up at all? If is has the foil will be bearing on a sharp carbon edge. If you reset the padding and radius the edge with a bit of sandpaper that should help...

With your trak record, plus my boat's ability to only break when somebody else is sailing it, I now understand why you don't want to borrow my boat........And I wouldn't have minded an new foil.
